To have stood in such a place when the amber, orange and red of autumn soften the
mountain's stark beauty. To have breathed the sweet fresh air and felt the warm
sun on my face just a few days before snow covered it all in winter's white mantle.
Surely there is magic in the world.

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows
into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness
into you, and the storms their energy, while cares
will drop off like autumn leaves.” - John Muir
